aha Makalali Private Game Reserve is located west of the Kruger National Park to offer guests an ethnic-style retreat within 26 000 hectares of bushveld in the North-eastern Lowveld. aha Makalali River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Makhutswi River. This 5 star lodge consists of three camps that have six luxury suites each. The camps are spaced a short distance apart along the banks of the Makhutswi River. The innovative design for the camps was the creation of the world renowned architect Sylvio Rech and as all the camps are very similar there is no need to specify a specific lodge as the experience is almost identical. All the camps are private yet within easy access of one another, featuring a plunge pool plus enclosed dining and lounge area.
