Waterbuck Lodge has a prime position in the southern part of the Big 5 Thornybush Game Reserve. The four lavish suites only accommodate eight guests and this exclusivity ensures the undivided attention of your hosts who will assist in every area. The generously-sized bedrooms and bathrooms yield unrivalled views of the pristine wilderness. A centralised entertainment area of the main deck enclosed by swimming pool and bar/dining area provides ample occasion for relaxation between dawn and dusk adventures. The main deck area also provides a further comfortable watch point to the abundant wildlife whose home is the feature watering hole adjacent to the lodge.

The suites are spaced relatively far apart from each other, creating a sense of privacy for our guests. Each suite has a sliding door that opens out onto a private deck with sofa chairs, which is where many of our guests are drawn to throughout the day. The interiors are spacious with high thatched ceilings, large beds and en-suite bathrooms. There’s an outside shower that offers a revitalising experience with a view, as well as an inside shower and a bath.
