Recently upgraded, Xanatseni Private Camp is a thatched, all-inclusive semi- luxury camp that provides absolute comfort while retaining the charm and ambiance of a bygone safari era. It has five spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a boma area with campfire, perfect for enjoying evening drinks around the flames, or warming you up with your coffee before the morning game drive. Summer months are the perfect excuse to lounge at the beautiful pool and outdoor patio area with an adjoining bar and lounge.

Xanatseni also has a Tseni two-bedroom family suite which can be booked out as a villa option offering a private guide and vehicle. The Tseni Suite at Xanatseni Private Camp is a 2 bedroom suite overlooking an open area where wildlife passes through. It is equipped with a kitchen, lounge, dining room and TV with full DSTV and a boma. The bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath, as well as an air conditioner and ceiling fan. All meals will be served in the suite while guests enjoy their exclusive safari experience.

Game viewing at Xanatseni is conducted twice daily in an open vehicle in the Klaserie Reserve and provides guests with the opportunities of seeing a myriad of wild animals including, but not limited to, the Big 5 and a vast number of bird species. Lounge by the swimming pool and witness the wild surrounds from the comfort of the deck of the camp.

The Klaserie Nature Reserve, (approximately 60 000 hectares), is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and open to the Kruger National Park and Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.

The private game Reserve lies along the western border of the Kruger National Park with no fencing separating the reserve from Kruger or the Timbavati, allowing the animals to roam freely between the Private Game Reserves and the Kruger Park. The game in both the Kruger Park and the neighbouring reserves is essentially the same, the difference being the experience of driving in open game viewers with a professional guide and that this area is known worldwide as the area where the white lion originate from. They are born in the wild and live in this area, so the gene pool of the white lion is carried within the lions of this area.
